Nature-inclusive housing

Build green neighbourhoods, but not in green areas! When constructing new buildings and redesigning streets, neighbourhoods and/or buildings, Eindhoven takes existing green areas into account and creates additional green spaces. Eindhoven can do this by building and renovating in a nature-inclusive and nature-positive way.

We strengthen and restore nature not only in existing nature areas, but everywhere: from urban areas to the countryside. 
Many trees are currently being felled. Even monumental trees, which add special value to biodiversity and city history due to their age, are now being felled. That is why we will henceforth adapt construction plans to the existing situation and spare the trees as much as possible.
