Serious climate policy

We live on a beautiful planet that offers everything that makes life wonderful for all its inhabitants. But due to human activity, the Earth is warming even faster than we thought. Everything indicates that we have already exceeded the 1.5 degree warming threshold. Through greenhouse gas emissions, the destruction of nature and the use of toxins, humanity is rapidly making the Earth uninhabitable for humans and animals. We can turn the tide if we make different choices now to tackle the climate crisis and the nature crisis. Of course, we will do this in a fair way.

The municipality must strongly oppose the gross negligence of the national government and exert pressure on it to really tackle climate change, environmental pollution and the loss of biodiversity. Eindhoven demands maximum support from the national government in this regard. At the same time, we are taking the necessary measures locally.
